Flagship Events FAQ
Please review the following information regarding the PADDOCK Flagship Events, including eligibility, registration, attendance, and event format.
What are the PADDOCK Flagship Events?
Flagship Events are the PADDOCK's larger networking gatherings, bringing together founders and sales professionals from a wide range of industries in one room.
Who attends a Flagship Event?
Flagship Events are designed for both founders and sales professionals. The mix creates opportunities to meet potential clients, partners, referral sources and other business contacts.
Are salespeople and founders at the same event?
Yes. Unlike our curated sessions, Flagship Events bring founders and sales professionals together, creating a larger pool of potential connections and opportunities.
How many people attend?
Flagship Events are larger than our curated sessions, generally bringing together around 50–100 attendees, depending on the event.
What can I expect at a Flagship Event?
Expect a larger, more energetic networking environment with plenty of opportunities to meet new people, exchange contacts, introduce your business and discover potential opportunities.
How is a Flagship Event different from a Curated Event?
Curated Events are smaller and more selective, allowing for more focused conversations within a specific audience. Flagship Events bring founders and sales professionals together in a larger setting, giving you greater exposure to more people in a single event.
Will I have opportunities to meet potential clients?
Flagship Events are designed to increase your exposure to potential clients, partners and referral opportunities. However, the PADDOCK does not guarantee specific introductions, leads or sales.
Can I attend if I’m not a founder or salesperson?
Exige events are primarily designed for founders and sales professionals. If you’re unsure whether a particular event is suitable for you, contact the PADDOCK team before registering.
How do I secure a place at a Flagship Event?
Register through the event page and complete any required information. Your place is only confirmed once your registration has been accepted and any required payment has been completed.
Are Flagship Events open to everyone?
Not necessarily. While Flagship Events accommodate a larger group, the PADDOCK may still review registrations to maintain the quality and overall mix of attendees.
General FAQ
Please review the following information for answers to common questions about the PADDOCK, our events, and attendance requirements.
What is the PADDOCK?
The PADDOCK is a networking platform built for sales professionals and founders. We bring the right people together through curated sessions and larger flagship events, helping members build connections that can lead to sales, referrals, partnerships and opportunities.
Who is the PADDOCK for?
The PADDOCK is primarily for sales professionals and founders looking to expand their network, find new opportunities and meet people outside their usual circle.
How does the PADDOCK work?
Choose the type of event that suits you, complete the relevant application or registration form, and our team will review your details. Once approved, you’ll receive the information needed to attend.
Do I need to apply before attending?
Yes. All the PADDOCK events require you to complete the relevant application or registration form before attending. This helps us understand who’s attending and maintain the right mix of people at each event.
How are attendees selected?
We consider factors such as your role, industry, experience and the overall mix of attendees. The goal is to create a room where people can have relevant conversations without unnecessary competition.
Is the PADDOCK only for business owners?
No. The PADDOCK is for both founders and sales professionals. Our curated sessions are separated by profession, while Flagship Events bring both groups together.
What industries can join?
We welcome people across different industries. Having a mix of industries is part of what makes the PADDOCK useful — it creates opportunities to exchange knowledge, make introductions and potentially sell through one another. However, for our curated sales events, we focus on B2B sales professionals, while our founder events are open to both B2B and B2C founders.
How often are the PADDOCK events held?
The PADDOCK runs smaller curated sessions regularly, alongside larger Flagship Events. Check our events page for upcoming dates.
What should I wear?
Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, smart casual or business casual is recommended.
What happens after I attend an event?
The conversation doesn’t have to end when the event does. The PADDOCK is designed to help people stay connected and continue exploring opportunities beyond the initial introduction.
Can I attend more than one event?
Yes. You can attend multiple the PADDOCK events, provided you meet the requirements and are approved or registered for each event.
Curated Events FAQ
Please review the following information regarding the PADDOCK Curated Events, including eligibility, applications, attendance, and event format.
What are the PADDOCK Curated Events?
Curated Events are smaller, more frequent networking sessions designed for more focused conversations. They bring together a carefully selected group of founders or sales professionals from different industries.
Who are the curated sessions for?
Curated sessions are split between Founders and Sales Professionals. Each session is designed around the needs and opportunities of that specific group.
What’s the difference between the Sales and Founder sessions?
Sales sessions focus on helping sales professionals expand their network, exchange sales knowledge, generate referrals and discover opportunities through other professionals. Founder sessions focus on connecting business owners who can exchange experiences, introductions, partnerships, customers, advice and other opportunities.
How many people attend?
Curated sessions are intentionally kept smaller, generally with a group of around 15–20 people, so everyone has a real opportunity to meet and speak with one another.
How are attendees curated?
We review each application based on factors such as your role, industry and the overall mix of people attending. We aim to create a diverse group without filling a session with direct competitors.
Will I meet people from my industry?
Possibly. However, the PADDOCK intentionally brings together people from different industries. The goal is to create opportunities to sell through one another, exchange knowledge and make introductions that may not happen within your usual network.
Can competitors attend the same session?
We aim to avoid unnecessary direct competition within the same session. However, the PADDOCK does not guarantee that attendees will never operate in the same or related industries.
What happens during a curated session?
The session is designed around introductions, conversation and networking. You’ll have the opportunity to learn what others do, explain what you do and identify where there may be opportunities to work together.
Can I attend both Sales and Founder sessions?
If you qualify for both types of sessions, you may apply to attend either. Approval is subject to the requirements and attendee mix of each event.
Can I bring someone with me?
Attendance is based on the individual who applied or registered. If someone else would like to attend, they should complete the relevant application or registration process rather than attending as an unregistered guest.
