These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PADDOCK website, application and registration processes, and participation in the PADDOCK events and services. By accessing our website, submitting an application, registering for an event, making a payment, or attending any the PADDOCK event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or participate in our events.
About the PADDOCK
The PADDOCK is a networking platform for founders and sales professionals. We organise curated networking sessions and larger Flagship Events designed to bring together professionals from different industries and create opportunities for introductions, referrals, business discussions and potential sales opportunities.
Eligibility
The PADDOCK events and services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. By applying for or attending a the PADDOCK event, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide to the PADDOCK is accurate and complete. Different events may have additional eligibility requirements depending on their intended audience. The PADDOCK's Sales events are intended for B2B sales professionals, Founder events are intended for B2B and B2C founders, and Flagship Events are intended to bring founders and sales professionals together.
Applications and Registration
All the PADDOCK events require the relevant application or registration process to be completed before attendance. Submitting an application or registration form does not automatically guarantee admission. The PADDOCK may review applications and registrations to determine eligibility and maintain the appropriate mix of attendees for each event. The PADDOCK reserves the right to approve or decline an application or registration where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law. Attendees are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to the PADDOCK is accurate and up to date.
Event Bookings and Payments
An event booking is considered confirmed only once the applicable registration requirements have been completed and any required payment has been received and confirmed by the PADDOCK. The PADDOCK currently accepts payment through direct bank transfer and QR-based payment methods. Attendees are responsible for providing accurate payment information and references where required. Event prices and any event-specific requirements will be stated on the relevant event page or registration materials.
Refunds and Cancellations
All event bookings are subject to the PADDOCK's Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Unless otherwise stated in that policy or required by applicable law, event bookings cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable once purchased. Where the PADDOCK cancels or reschedules an event, the options available to attendees will be handled in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Replacement Attendees
If an attendee is unable to attend an event, they may nominate another person to attend in their place, subject to prior notification to the PADDOCK. The replacement attendee must complete any required application or registration form and meet the eligibility and requirements of the relevant event. The PADDOCK reserves the right to decline a replacement attendee where the individual does not meet the requirements or criteria for the relevant event. A replacement attendee may not attend without prior notification and completion of the required registration process.
Curated Event Entry Requirements
For the PADDOCK Curated Events, the applicable entry fee covers admission to the event only and does not include food or drinks purchased from the venue. Attendees are required to purchase at least one food or drink item directly from the event venue. Any food or drinks purchased from the venue are subject to the venue's own pricing, terms and availability.
Flagship Events, Food and Allergies
Food and drinks may be provided or served at certain the PADDOCK Flagship Events. Attendees are responsible for informing the PADDOCK in advance of any food allergies, dietary restrictions or other relevant requirements. While the PADDOCK will make reasonable efforts to accommodate information provided to us, we cannot guarantee that all food or drinks served will be suitable for every dietary requirement or allergy. The PADDOCK also aims to use halal venues where reasonably possible; however, we do not guarantee that every the PADDOCK event or venue will be held at a halal-certified establishment.
WhatsApp Groups and Communications
Following attendance at a the PADDOCK event, attendees may be invited to a relevant the PADDOCK WhatsApp group, including groups for Curated Sales Events, Curated Founder Events or the PADDOCK Flagship Events. These groups are intended to keep attendees informed about future the PADDOCK events, announcements and relevant opportunities. Participation in these groups is optional, and members may leave the group at any time. By joining a the PADDOCK WhatsApp group, members agree to communicate respectfully and comply with any group-specific rules communicated by the PADDOCK.
Email Communications
The PADDOCK may use the email address provided by you to send communications relating to your application, registration, payment receipts, tickets, event confirmations, event updates, future events, promotions, announcements and other information relating to the PADDOCK. Where required by applicable law, you may opt out of marketing communications; however, essential communications relating to an event, booking, payment or service you have requested may still be sent.
Prohibited Businesses and Activities
The PADDOCK does not permit participation in connection with businesses or activities that involve scams, fraudulent schemes, pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs), deceptive business practices, illegal activities, misleading investment or financial schemes, or other activities that the PADDOCK reasonably considers unsuitable for its network. Attendees must not use the PADDOCK events, introductions, communications or networking opportunities to solicit or promote such activities. The PADDOCK reserves the right to reject an application, cancel participation or remove an attendee from an event immediately where we reasonably believe that the attendee or their business is involved in prohibited or fraudulent activities. Where an attendee is removed for violating this section, they will not be entitled to a refund, subject to applicable law.
Event Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards other attendees, the PADDOCK representatives, venue staff and other individuals involved in an event. Harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, abusive behaviour, unwanted sexual conduct, aggressive behaviour, fraudulent conduct, deliberate disruption, or any other behaviour that creates an unsafe or inappropriate environment is prohibited. The PADDOCK reserves the right to refuse entry or remove an attendee from an event where their conduct breaches these Terms or is reasonably considered inappropriate or disruptive. Where an attendee is removed due to a breach of these Terms, no refund will be provided, subject to applicable law.
Networking and Business Relationships
The PADDOCK provides opportunities for individuals and businesses to meet, communicate and explore potential opportunities. The PADDOCK does not guarantee that any attendee will receive a particular introduction, lead, referral, customer, sale, partnership, investment, contract or other business outcome. Attendees are solely responsible for evaluating other attendees, businesses, products, services and opportunities before entering into any business or personal arrangement. The PADDOCK does not endorse, verify or guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, quality or performance of every business, product, service, statement or opportunity presented by an attendee. Any dealings between attendees are entered into at the attendees' own discretion and risk.
Event Changes
The PADDOCK may, where reasonably necessary, change an event's venue, date, time, format, programme, speakers, activities or other event details. The PADDOCK may also postpone, reschedule or cancel an event where circumstances require it. Where an event is cancelled or rescheduled, any refund or transfer options available to attendees will be handled in accordance with the PADDOCK's Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
Photography and Recording
The PADDOCK may photograph, record or otherwise capture images and video during events for business and promotional purposes, including use on the PADDOCK website, social media, marketing materials and future event promotions. By attending a the PADDOCK event, you acknowledge that photography and recording may take place. Further information regarding the collection and use of personal data and event recordings is provided in the PADDOCK's Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
All content and materials relating to the PADDOCK, including the PADDOCK name, logo, branding, website content, graphics, written materials, event materials and other intellectual property, belong to the PADDOCK or are used with appropriate permission. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, commercially exploit or otherwise use the PADDOCK's intellectual property without our prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
Website Use
You agree to use the PADDOCK website lawfully and responsibly. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems, interfere with the operation or security of the website, introduce malicious software, scrape or collect information through automated means without permission, impersonate another person, submit false or misleading information, or use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
Third-Party Services and Websites
The PADDOCK may use or provide links to third-party services, websites, venues, payment providers, communication platforms and other external services. The PADDOCK does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, security, privacy practices, products, services or conduct of third parties. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the PADDOCK provides its website, networking opportunities and events on an "as available" basis and does not guarantee that the website, events or services will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. The PADDOCK does not guarantee any particular business, networking, financial or commercial outcome from participating in a the PADDOCK event or using our services.
Physical Events, Health and Personal Safety
The PADDOCK events are held at third-party venues and may involve food, beverages, activities, equipment and interaction with other attendees. Attendees participate in the PADDOCK events at their own responsibility and are expected to take reasonable care of their own health, safety and personal belongings. The PADDOCK is not responsible for loss, injury, illness, allergic reaction, food-related illness, property damage or other harm arising from the acts or omissions of third-party venues, caterers, food or beverage providers, contractors, other attendees or circumstances outside the PADDOCK's reasonable control, except to the extent caused by the PADDOCK's own negligence, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law. Attendees are responsible for informing the PADDOCK and, where appropriate, the event venue of any allergies, dietary restrictions, medical considerations or other requirements that may affect their participation. The PADDOCK does not guarantee that food or beverages provided or sold at an event will be suitable for every attendee's individual requirements.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the PADDOCK will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from or relating to your use of the website, participation in an event, interactions with other attendees, or any business relationship or transaction entered into as a result of a the PADDOCK introduction or event. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful or fraudulent conduct, your misuse of the PADDOCK website or services, or your actions towards other attendees, the PADDOCK, venues or service providers.
Suspension and Termination
The PADDOCK may refuse an application, cancel a registration, suspend participation, remove an attendee from an event or restrict access to the PADDOCK services where we reasonably believe that a person has breached these Terms, provided false or misleading information, engaged in prohibited or unlawful activities, behaved inappropriately, or otherwise acted in a manner that may negatively affect the PADDOCK, its attendees or event partners. Where participation is terminated due to a breach of these Terms, no refund will be provided, subject to applicable law.
Privacy
Your use of the PADDOCK's website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how the PADDOCK collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal data. By using our website or submitting personal data to the PADDOCK, you acknowledge and agree to the processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
The PADDOCK may update or amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, events, business operations or applicable legal requirements. The updated version will be published on this website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
