TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your application to, participation in, and use of the community, events, experiences and services provided by the PADDOCK (“PADDOCK”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By submitting an application, joining the PADDOCK community, registering for an event, making a payment, or attending a PADDOCK event or experience, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
ABOUT THE PADDOCK
The PADDOCK is a private community for founders and business leaders, bringing people together through experiences across Mind, Body and Business. The community may include, but is not limited to:
Founders
Business owners
CEOs
Directors
Chairmen
Family-business successors
Senior business and organisational leaders
Other individuals who are actively involved in a legitimate business or organisation
The PADDOCK may organise events and experiences of different sizes, formats and types.
ELIGIBILITY
To apply to join the PADDOCK, you must generally be 18 years of age or older. Certain events may have a higher minimum age requirement, including events restricted to individuals aged 21 years and above. You must also:
Be a founder, business owner, business leader or otherwise genuinely involved in a legitimate business or organisation;
Provide accurate and truthful information in your application;
Meet any additional requirements specified for a particular event; and
Comply with these Terms and any event-specific rules.
he PADDOCK does not permit the use of its community or events for MLM (multi-level marketing), pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, scams, fraudulent or deceptive activities, spam-based businesses, or other business models or activities that are not compatible with the PADDOCK community, regardless of whether such activities are otherwise legal.
APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE
All participation in PADDOCK events is subject to acceptance. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The PADDOCK reserves the right to:
Accept or reject any application at its discretion;
Request additional information where reasonably necessary;
Refuse access to the community or an individual event;
Cancel or remove a person's acceptance or community access where they breach these Terms;
Refuse attendance where an event is full;
Refuse attendance where an individual does not meet the requirements of a particular event; and
Take any other reasonable action necessary to protect the PADDOCK community, its members or the integrity of its events.
Acceptance into the PADDOCK community does not guarantee access to every event.
ONE-TIME APPLICATION
The PADDOCK generally operates through a one-time application process. Once accepted, you may be added to the private the PADDOCK Club WhatsApp group, where upcoming events and experiences may be shared. Members may then RSVP for events they wish to attend, subject to availability and any event-specific requirements.
ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
You agree that all information you provide to the PADDOCK is accurate, complete and not misleading. You must not:
Provide false or misleading information;
Misrepresent your business, position or professional background;
Impersonate another person or business; or
Use false credentials to gain access to the community or an event.
The PADDOCK may take appropriate action if information provided is found to be materially false or misleading.
LEGITIMATE BUSINESS REQUIREMENT
The PADDOCK is intended for individuals who are genuinely involved in business or leadership. You must operate, own, lead, work for, or otherwise be legitimately involved in a genuine business or organisation. The PADDOCK does not permit the use of its community or events for:
Multi-level marketing (“MLM”);
Pyramid schemes;
Ponzi schemes;
Fraudulent or deceptive businesses;
Scams;
Unlicensed or unlawful activities;
Spam-based businesses or activities; or
Other business activities that the PADDOCK reasonably considers incompatible with the community.
The PADDOCK reserves the right to reject or remove individuals or businesses that do not meet these standards.
CODE OF CONDUCT
All members and attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally. You must not engage in:
Harassment or bullying;
Threatening, abusive or intimidating behaviour;
Discrimination or hateful conduct;
Sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct;
Violence or threats of violence;
Fraud, scams or deceptive conduct;
Illegal activities;
Deliberately disruptive behaviour;
Unwanted or excessive solicitation;
Sharing another person's private information without permission; or
Any behaviour that the PADDOCK reasonably considers harmful to the safety, experience or reputation of the community.
The PADDOCK may remove an individual from an event, community or group where their conduct breaches these standards.
BUSINESS SOLICITATION
Business conversations, introductions, recommendations and discussions are an important part of the PADDOCK community. Members may discuss and promote their legitimate businesses in an appropriate and respectful manner. However, you must not engage in:
Aggressive selling;
Repeatedly pitching to someone who has indicated they are not interested;
Spam;
Mass unsolicited messages;
Pressure-based sales tactics;
Misleading claims;
Unsolicited promotional material; or
Any behaviour that makes another member uncomfortable or pressured.
Participation in the PADDOCK does not give you permission to repeatedly solicit other members.
MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS
The PADDOCK may identify potential connections between members based on information provided through applications, events or other interactions. Where an introduction would involve sharing a member's contact information, permission must be obtained from both parties before their contact details are shared. The PADDOCK does not guarantee that any introduction will result in:
A client;
A sale;
A partnership;
An investment;
A referral;
A business opportunity; or
Any other commercial outcome.
Any business relationship formed between members is solely between those parties.
EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
The PADDOCK may organise or facilitate events involving physical activities, sports, fitness, wellness, outdoor activities, workshops, discussions, social experiences and other activities. You agree to:
Follow reasonable instructions provided by PADDOCK organisers, instructors, coaches, venues or activity providers;
Follow applicable safety rules;
Act responsibly during activities;
Inform the PADDOCK of any relevant information that may reasonably affect your safe participation; and
Stop participating if you believe continuing may put yourself or another person at risk.
The PADDOCK may refuse or stop your participation in an activity if we reasonably believe that your participation presents a safety concern or breaches applicable rules.
PARTICIPATION AT YOUR OWN RISK
You acknowledge that participation in certain PADDOCK events and activities may involve inherent risks, including physical activity, sports, outdoor activities, travel, interaction with other people or use of third-party facilities and equipment. You voluntarily participate in such activities and assume responsibility for assessing whether you are suitable to participate. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Malaysian law.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You are responsible for your own personal belongings while attending PADDOCK events. The PADDOCK is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings, except to the extent that such liability cannot legally be excluded.
THIRD-PARTY VENUES AND PROVIDERS
Some PADDOCK events may take place at or involve third-party venues, coaches, trainers, instructors, restaurants, activity providers, suppliers or other service providers. The PADDOCK is not responsible for the acts, omissions, services or facilities of independent third parties, except to the extent required by applicable law. You may also be subject to the terms, rules and requirements of the relevant venue or service provider.
EVENT REQUIREMENTS
Individual events may have specific requirements relating to:
Age;
Fitness;
Dress code;
Capacity;
Payment;
Food or dietary requirements;
Activities;
Equipment;
Venue requirements; or
Other participation conditions.
You must meet the requirements specified for the event you are attending. The PADDOCK may refuse attendance where you do not meet an event's requirements.
EVENT CAPACITY
Event places are subject to availability. Making an application or being accepted into the PADDOCK community does not guarantee a place at a particular event. Where an event is full, the PADDOCK may refuse additional registrations even if an individual has previously been accepted into the community.
PAYMENTS
Payment requirements will be stated for each event. The PADDOCK currently accepts payment through:
Bank transfer; and
QR payment.
We do not accept cash or other payment methods unless expressly stated for a particular event. Where applicable, payment must be completed at least 24 hours before the event unless otherwise stated. A place at an event is not confirmed until the required payment has been received and verified by the PADDOCK. All payments are subject to the the PADDOCK Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
All refunds and cancellations are governed by the PADDOCK Refund & Cancellation Policy. Unless otherwise stated in the applicable event terms, payments are non-refundable. By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy.
WHATSAPP COMMUNITY
Accepted members may be added to the private the PADDOCK Club WhatsApp group. The group is intended for community communication and event-related purposes. You must not use the group to:
Spam members;
Send unsolicited mass promotional messages;
Post inappropriate, offensive or illegal content;
Promote MLMs, pyramid schemes, scams or prohibited businesses;
Share another member's personal information without permission;
Add individuals who have not been accepted into the PADDOCK;
Repeatedly promote your business without appropriate context or permission; or
Engage in behaviour that disrupts the community.
Being in the PADDOCK WhatsApp group does not automatically give you permission to privately message other members for promotional or business purposes. You must not cold-DM or directly solicit a member whom you have not met in person through the PADDOCK without their permission. If you have met another member in person, any subsequent communication must still be respectful and must not involve spam, aggressive selling or repeated unwanted solicitation. Promotional or business-related posts in the PADDOCK Club WhatsApp group may require permission from the PADDOCK before being posted. The PADDOCK reserves the right to remove posts or restrict posting privileges where necessary. The PADDOCK may remove a member from the WhatsApp group for violating these rules or these Terms.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY
PADDOCK events may be photographed or recorded. By attending an event, you acknowledge and agree that you may appear in photographs, videos or other recordings. The PADDOCK may use such content for:
Its website;
Instagram;
LinkedIn;
Community communications;
Event documentation; and
Marketing and promotional purposes.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The PADDOCK name, logo, branding, website content, written materials, event materials, graphics, designs, photographs, videos and other content created or provided by the PADDOCK are owned by or licensed to the PADDOCK unless otherwise stated. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or represent such materials as your own without prior written permission. You may not use the PADDOCK name, logo or branding in a manner that suggests an unauthorised partnership, endorsement or affiliation.
BUSINESS AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
The PADDOCK provides a platform and environment for people to meet, communicate and participate in experiences. The PADDOCK does not guarantee:
Business leads;
Clients;
Sales;
Partnerships;
Investments;
Referrals;
Employment;
Revenue;
Business growth; or
Any other specific personal or commercial outcome.
You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any business, financial, contractual or personal relationship with another attendee or member. The PADDOCK is not responsible for disputes, losses or claims arising from transactions or relationships between members, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, the PADDOCK will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or unforeseeable loss, damage, injury or harm arising from your participation in the community or events. This may include, where legally permitted:
Personal injury, illness or death arising from risks inherent in an activity or your own acts or omissions;
Loss of profits;
Loss of business opportunities;
Loss of revenue;
Loss of data;
Loss or damage to personal belongings;
Loss arising from interactions or transactions with other members; or
Loss arising from third-party services, venues, instructors, guides or activity providers.
You acknowledge that certain PADDOCK activities, including sports, fitness, hiking and other outdoor activities, carry inherent risks of injury, illness, accident or other harm. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability arising from the PADDOCK's own negligence or other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
REMOVAL FROM THE COMMUNITY
The PADDOCK may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the community, WhatsApp group or future events if you:
Breach these Terms;
Breach event-specific rules;
Engage in prohibited business activities;
Provide false or misleading information;
Engage in harassment, abuse, spam or aggressive solicitation;
Misuse another member's information;
Create a safety concern;
Disrupt the community; or
Otherwise act in a manner that the PADDOCK reasonably considers incompatible with the community.
Where access is removed because of a breach of these Terms, you may not be entitled to a refund for any payment already made, in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
CHANGES TO EVENTS
The PADDOCK may make reasonable changes to events, including changes to:
Venue;
Date or time;
Activities;
Speakers;
Format;
Event partners; or
Other event details.
Where an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the applicable provisions of the Refund & Cancellation Policy will apply.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
The PADDOCK may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our community, events, operations, services or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be published on the PADDOCK website. Your continued participation in the PADDOCK after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
PRIVACY
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the the PADDOCK Privacy Notice. The Privacy Notice forms part of the overall terms governing your participation in the PADDOCK.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, where permitted by law. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
NO WAIVER
If the PADDOCK does not immediately enforce any provision of these Terms, this does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the applicable jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
